The importance of seeking our own pleasure…

The first weekend I was in the UK was a conference with John Piper. He is well known for coining the term “Christian Hedonism”. His idea is that it is not wrong to seek pleasure, in fact, seeking our own pleasure should be our first goal. The twist is that our highest pleasure is only found in God.

Is he right? I’ll be preaching on my take on this idea.
