Newlife Church Housemoot 2024

Housemoot is a DIY web conference designed to help people build community by drawing people together around art, music, story and the gospel. At the core is the belief that faith should lead to good art, and good art should reveal something of God’s amazing creative nature.

You are invited to join our gathering (“moot”) at home this year! We will meet at Ruth and Suchiththa’s house across the weekend for movies, discussions, music and food. This is the loose plan:

FRIDAY 15TH NOVEMBER

7.30pm - 10.30pm

Film screening of The Hiding Place - a filmed play adaptation of Corrie Ten Boom’s autobiographical story. Eat dinner beforehand but we will have snacks.

SATURDAY 16TH NOVEMBER

12.00pm - 8.00pm (but it’s flexible!)

A full day to hang out as a community (including lunch and dinner) and discuss creativity and faith. We will watch and discuss two of the Housemoot video sessions and have plenty of time to enjoy time together too.
