    I have given to them,
that they may be one even as we are one,
  2. I in them and you in me,

so that the world may know
    that you sent me
and loved them even as you loved me.

Matthew 17

Revival in New England

“This work of God… soon made a glorious alteration in the town; so that in the spring and summer following 1735, the town seemed to be full of the presence of God—it never was so full of love, nor so full of joy… as it was then.

It was a time of joy in families on account of Salvation being brought unto them; parents rejoicing over their children as newborn, and husbands over their wives, and wives over their husbands.”

Response

  • Try harder??
  • Spend time with Jesus!

“And we all, with unveiled face,
beholding the glory of the Lord,
are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another.
For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.”
(2 Corinthians 3:18)
