Back at Lourdes School for the next 5 weeks

This Sunday we are meeting back at Lourdes School!

We have just been told that we can’t meet at St. Joseph’s for the next 5 Sundays because of building repairs.

At 11am this Sunday morning we’re meeting at our summer location: Lourdes School at 444 Sherbourne (by Wellesley) See directions and map

It’s a 10-min walk east of the Wellesley Subway, (or south from Sherbourne):

Getting there on the TTC

Limited parking is available at the back of the school, and there is a Green P across the street—see (P)‘s on the map.

Praise and worship will be led by Vivian, Mark & Dan, and Andrew will be speaking using our gifts to build the body.

Breaking Bread: As part of worship, we will break bread together to remember Jesus’ gift of his life and celebrate his presence with us.

Our prayer team will ready to pray for people after the sermon.

Last Sunday’s sermon: “The Suffering of Job — Why do difficult things happen to faithful people?”

• People naturally ask: How can there be a good God with so much evil happening every day to people?
• The book of Job goes some way to addressing this question.
• Also, God does not have a merely abstract concept of suffering and pain.
• He’s the God who became human and was slain!
