Cabbagetown Festival

This weekend is one of the most fun events in the year in the neighbourhood of St. Martin’s school

  • Parliament Street will be closed off for live music and the restaurants will be serving food on the street.
  • There is an amazing Arts and Crafts fair in Riverdale Park and the surrounding area. You might be able to to pick up a few early Christmas gifts!
  • The farm has activities for kids, and there’s a kid’s theatre performance at the chapel.
  • Everyone in the neighbourhood has a yard sale.

The Fountains are having an open house (well actually the front yard) from 1pm onwards if you want to hang out an get a drink from the cooler.

It’s a neighbourhood street festival like no other

It has delicious food from South Asia to Europe, street performances by the Winchester Street Dance Theatre, live theatre family in the chapel of the necropolis, walking tours of historic Cabbagetown and an amazing art and crafts fair.

I can hear you saying....but all the festivals have that.

But do they have a 2K run so you can enjoy the Restaurant & Pub Crawl totally guilt free? And do they have a big ole barn dance in the city to round it all off?!!!
