Romans 5

Grace

Romans 5

  1. Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one man’s righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life.
  2. For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one man’s obedience many will be made righteous.
  3. Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more,
  4. so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Things we say:

Things we say:

Galatians 1

  1. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed.

Galatians 2

  1. But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is Christ therefore a minister of sin? Certainly not!
  2. For if I build again those things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.
  3. For I through the law died to the law that I might live to God.
  4. I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
  5. I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.”
