John 1

12. But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God,
13. who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of humans, but of God.

34. Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of the one who sent me and to complete his work.
30. I can do nothing on my own initiative. Just as I hear, I judge, and my judgement is just, because I do not seek my own will, but the will of the one who sent me.
36. “But I have a testimony greater than that from John. For the deeds that the Father has assigned me to complete—the deeds I am now doing—testify about me that the Father has sent me.

44. No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day.

50. This is the bread that comes down from heaven, so that one may eat of it and not die.

20. I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word,
21. that they will all be one, just as you, Father, are in me and I am in you. I pray that they will be in us, so that the world will believe that you sent me.
22. The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one,
23. I in them and you in me—that they may be completely one, so that the world will know that you sent me, and you have loved them just as you have loved me.
