Colossians 4:2–4

  1. In prayer continue steadfastly, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving;
  2.       praying at the same time also for us,
that God would open to us a door for the word,
to speak the mystery of Christ,
for which I am also in chains,
  3.       that I may reveal it, as I ought to speak.

My prayer-song

  • All the promises you make (to keep me)
From the cradle to the grave
But all I want is you
    All I want is you

  • You say you’ll give me
Eyes in a land of blindness
A river in a time of dryness
    A harbour in the tempest
But all I want is you!

  • And all the promises you made (to keep me)
From the cradle to the grave
When all I want is you, all I want is you   —Bono

2 Chronicles 20

  2. And when they began to sing and praise, the LORD set an ambush against the men of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah, so that they were routed.
