Celebration service on May 6th

in

We were all encouraged by how well the event went. We have never used this facility before, but it turned out to be excellent: spacious, clean, easy parking, good acoustics and a friendly janitor.

Thirty eight people showed up which included very strong support from King's Family in Oakville. The worship time was wonderful. Roger shared a message on The good news of the Kingdom: God's heart for the lost and broken (which you can listen to here), and we ended with an open prayer time. (And then food back at the Fountain's home around the corner.)

Newlife Celebration meeting

Ministering at the Follower's Mission

On Friday Feb 16th, Chris, Andrew & Phil went to the Follower's Mission in the heart of downtown Toronto. It is a ministry to the homeless, those living in shelters and those marginalized by society. Chris gave his testimony of being reunited with his father, and went on to preached on Jesus healing the leper. There was a very good response from the 30-40 men and women at the meeting and we stayed quite late praying for those who wanted prayer.

Young Adults go skating

Phil White has only been in Canada for a week and wanted an authenitic Canadian experience, so five of the Newlife young adults went skating.

Philip is from England and is with us for four months as an exchange student. He is studying sculpture at OCAD (Ontario College of Art and Design). Back home he is part of Winchester Family Church. His parents are missionaries with Newfrontiers and he lived in China till he was twelve years old. It is great to have him with us for this semester.
